At BAMEEN, we believe that everyone has both the right and the responsibility to be informed about and actively involved in shaping their local environment.
Hull’s evolving demographic landscape highlights the need to engage all communities—particularly Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) groups—in environmental action. Conversations with individuals and organisations across Hull, including those within the environmental sector, consistently emphasise the importance of BME participation. There is a shared recognition that this involvement is not only valuable but essential, and must be actively encouraged and supported.
